BG On The Move

  • Brandon Moves To Miami

Brandon is excited to be a part of Siesta Key: Miami Moves because he feels like it’s a great opportunity to share his music and love of cannabis with a wider audience. “I think the show will really help expose my music to people who wouldn’t normally listen to it,” he says. “I’m looking forward to connecting with viewers and hopefully inspiring them with my story.”

In addition to following Brandon’s journey as an up-and-coming musician, and cannabis business owner, viewers will also get a front-row seat to his relationships – both platonic and romantic. “You’ll definitely see me date around and try to figure out what I want in a partner,” he says. “I like girls who are creative and have a good sense of humor. And, of course, she has to be in my band!”

  • Why the Change?

Many are wondering why MTV made such a significant change to the show. While there has been no official statement from the network, it is speculated that ratings may have had something to do with it. The first season of Siesta Key was widely criticized for its lack of diversity, which Miami – with its large Hispanic population – will undoubtedly address.

It is also possible that MTV simply felt that Sarasota had run its course and that a change of scenery was necessary to keep the show fresh. Whatever the reason, there's no denying that Siesta Key: Miami Moves is sure to be one of the most talked-about shows of the year, and Brandon Gomes shows us how business is handled in the city heat.

MTV's hit reality series Siesta Key is returning for a fifth season, Siesta Key: Miami Moves!

As life in Siesta Key gives way to high energy in multicultural Miami, we see our cast grow up and greet their adult lives and the pressures that comes with it. Once a big fish in a small pond, we’ll watch these young adults as they become much smaller fish in a far larger pond.” -MTV

In Brandon's case, this means building a hemp company, Siesta G, his music career, and keeping up with Dad life. Siesta G, Brandon's Hemp brand, features products like infused edibles, bobas, tinctures, pre-rolls, tobacco-free shisha, and much more. His goal is to create products that define a generational shift in one's capacity to access something that can be so potentially life-changing and helpful. While simultaneously smashing through years of systemic inequality in the Cannabis/Hemp industry. According to MJBizDaily, diversity is a massive problem in the Cannabis/Hemp industry.
